Highly experienced finance professional Jen Betz supports large-scale roll-out of Element Energy’s Adaptive Battery Management technology
MENLO PARK, CA – March 7, 2023 – Element Energy (“Element”), a Menlo Park-based advanced battery management technology company, today announced that Jen Betz has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. With over two decades of experience, Betz will lead the company’s strategic financial planning and support the commercialization of Element’s Adaptive Battery Management technology.
Betz joins Element from Analog Devices (Nasdaq: ADI), a global semiconductor leader, where she was Vice President of Accounting. Betz grew her career over two decades at Maxim Integrated, a publicly traded, global corporation with gross revenues exceeding $2.4 billion. She started at the company as a financial analyst and rose to become Managing Director, Manufacturing Finance and later Corporate Controller and Vice President of Accounting. As Corporate Controller and Vice President of Accounting, Betz led a global staff of more than 100 finance professionals responsible for all regulatory, compliance and accounting functions. Maxim was acquired by Analog Devices in 2021. In 2019, Betz was profiled in Silicon Valley Business Journal as a Woman of Influence and in 2014, Betz was recognized in the same publication’s top 40 Under 40 list.

In December 2022, Element Energy announced it has raised $28M in an initial close of its Series B round. This year, Element Energy will begin deploying 2.5 GWh of secured EV batteries to the electric grid.
